So, I'm awake at this ungodly hour, scanning through travel links, and browsing through the excellent Rick Steves site, or rather the readers' comments/tips page, I stumbled upon this, under Gross Traditional Edibles. Maybe it's the lack of sleep, but this had me in hysterics for quite a while.

Bubonic Plague
I read that marmite is one of the carriers of bubonic plague. Yikes.

I like wandering around, pretty much aimlessly, exploring new places. Sadly, I was born on an island in the middle of the Atantic Ocean, so I my wandering scope is limited. Thanks to modern technology, though, I can walk into a metal tube and be on the continent in 3 hours or so, where wandering can resume. My opinion that Iceland is getting worse every year has been confirmed, so my plan -or what passes for a plan in my world- is to get the hell outta here again as soon as I can. I just hope the government will let me out of here...you never know, the secret police might knock on my door ... full info
