Hungary is a member of the European Union and its capital city is Budapest. You will get to know that several other cities in the country have a lot for you.
There’s a lot to learn from the locals. The transport system is good which means you can connect each tourist attraction with the other easily. Hungarian dishes are very unique and tasty which is the reason why you shouldn’t leave the city without tasting.

As I had already stated, Hungarian is known for her sweet local wine. You can bear me witness that visiting any of your local wine outlets you will come across Badascony, Vill’ny, Eger or Szeksz’rd which are all Hungarian drinks. The other good thing about these drinks is there’s a sweet story behind any of them. So you can get to some of the local wine outlets in Hungary and enjoy a glass of wine any time of the day.
Go shopping
Every country and city is unique in its own way. Hungary is known for manufacturing the best watches, clothes and shoes. Why don’t you spare some little time to visit some of the biggest malls in the cities for a good treat? Make sure you have bought at least two pairs of shoes, a watch and some good clothes before you leave. However, do not over shop because you will be charged in the airport when leaving the country. Hungary is a very safe country and so you can explore the streets without any issues. First and Foremost, start in the Dohany Street. This way, you will come across a synagogue and several other adorable monuments. The Dohany street synagogue is one of the oldest that was constructed by Israelites. Though, the original synagogue was Bombed during the WWII. Though, it has been revived and now tourists can visit to interact with the history.
Visit Lake Balaton
This lake is the largest in Central Europe and now serves as the top most attractive tourist destinations. Most Hungarian families visits this lake during summer to spend some hours and days enjoying the hot sun of the season. You can get involved in any of the activities here including Fishing, swimming and sailing on the lake. The good thing is you will have plenty of places to hire a boat.
Eger wine region
I don’t see any reason why you should skip a visit to the Eger wine region which is one of the best tourist attractions. Although the country is known for dessert wines such as Tokaj, many people have adored this place since the time in memorial. This is where you will find many vineyards and wine cellars. It’s actually the best place where you can sample some local wines.
