How is art like in Greece?

Greek art was meant to honor the gods. Usually temples were built to honor their gods. The temples were built in many styles. The design of the Greek temples had influenced architecture from the Renaissance to our modern times. Also in Greek the sculptures established an ideal form for the humans. In addition, in the Archaic period sculptures had become much more realistic the poses were less firm and more natural. Also in Greek they built many sculptures that represented the gods and godesses.
