Leto's Skipper driving! Short drive to where we boarded out yatchs! We parked the bus to repack our bags and while there we seemed to aquire 3 homeless but very friendly dogs. Steve was made the Skipper of our yatch and being his wife I was made his 1st Mate. We had 4 other girls on our yatch (who later on decided that Steve and I were mum and dad and they were our 4 daughters... even though 1 of the girls is 2 years older then me!). Being Skipper and 1st Mate, the tallest and the married couple we got the best bedroom and the other girls shared the other bedroom, couches and outside on the deck for the nights.
On Monday we were shown how to work the yatch and then we set off.
Every day we drove around (do you drive or what? We weren't sailing because there wasn't enough wind) for a while then stopped in the middle of the sea for a swim... it was awesome jumping into the clear blue ocean where you can see heaps of meters below the water – makes a change from the poo coloured oceans in New Zealand. It was very salty though!

Our yatchs One day we had just finished swimming and had set off again when 2 dolphins started swimming right next to our yatch (there were 6 yatchs in total in our formation). 1 day instead of stopping in the middle of the ocean our leader took us to a cave to swim into... By the time Steve and I had sorted our yatch the other girls had already left... with the lilos and ring! Steve and I had to swim and I am pretty sure I would have sunk and died if it had been much further!
Each night we moored somewhere nice. The first night the we moored in such a way that we had to climb from one boat to the next (luckily we only had to climb over the guides boat... unluckily for us it meant everyone else had to climb over our boat!). We had a really nice dinner then afterwards we did some Greek dancing which included putting a table in your mouth and holding it only with your teeth then dancing around... that was the guys anyway. Us girls were pulled up in pairs to do the same thing. The last party trick was one

Some of us girls on a swim stop of the girls from our trip sat in the middle of the table then four of the guys from our trip (Steve being on of them) lifted her up using their teeth and danced around. We were the last ones 'home' that night and so the next morning our 'daughters' told us off for being out too late!
The second night we moored at a place that had 3 water slides and a pool there. It was so nice to clean all the salt that had crustified everywhere posible. After tea there they cranked up the music and we danced.
The third night we were back where we started from as we had to leave the next morning. Most of us went to bed early! Before we went to dinner we got a group photo taken, I had a big bottle of water (because a lot of these places you cannot drink the tap water) so I left it sitting on the concrete... next minute the not so nice street dog STOLE my water bottle (and useless Tim did nothing to stop him either... lol). I was not impressed until I saw him bring my water bottle over to the

Our yatchs grass where he used his paws to hold the bottle and his teeth to twist the lid off the bottle... yes, he twisted the lid off!!!! He then used his leg to position the bottle properly and drink all of the water in my bottle! Clever but cheeky little sod! The next day someone else made the same mistake as me and he did the same thing!
Hmmm, that is our 3 days sailing in a nutshell!
Oh yea and I am now officially complaining about the weather. When you drove the yatch there was no shade for your back so as you can imagine I got horrendously burnt (and YES mum I DID sunscreen numerous times! Hehe).
This is 1st Mate of Leto over and out!
