Liz on the throne Dubai
We are back again to tell you the rest of the story. In Dubai we bought in the tax free area some whiskey and perfume. We took that with us in the plane. When we boarded the plane, we found out that the luggage was not sent on to Mykonos. We had to collect this in Athens. Not good, we did not understand why for we flew with the same company. We had a good flight to Athens, there we collected our luggage and because our plane was late we had to hurry to get our luggage through Customs. Now I knew why we had to collect the luggage, there is no Customs in Mykonos. At the Customs they found the whiskey and wanted to take that of us. Now we did everything to hang on to it. Liz pleaded with them and in the end for that we were so late for the connecting flight, they gave special permission and we could keep it. We just made the connection with 3 minutes to spare. Only a small plane and a small Airport. So we had to use the staircase to leave the plane. Not easy when you have all those

things with you. We were then transported with a bus to the Terminal. Liz got to talk to the lady next to her and asked if it was easy to get a taxi at the Airport. Of course She said, but where are you staying. Liz told her, She took her mobile phone and we presume rang the Hotel, talked for a minute and said to Liz, there will be a car waiting at the Airport from the Hotel. Now that was nice. At the Hotel lobby we booked in and and received our room number. It is a Hotel with lots of stairs every where, if you want to get fit you have to stay at this place. We had somebody helping with our luggage for we would not be able to get it at the room. We took some of it ourselves, lots of stairs, we would not be able to find the room, it must be something Myconian it is like everything in Mykonos a maze. Anyway on the way to the room Liz mis judged the steps and fell flat out onto the cement. She was very lucky nothing was broken, she has to be good

friends with the person upstairs. After collecting all the luggage in the room, a bit tiny we looked for the shower. Also very tiny with a curtain as well, I hate those things. We both had a shower and after a nice whiskey out of the disputed bottle we went to sleep. We both were dead tired. Bye for now Liz & Allan
