Oh Santorini

Yasu Friends and Family,

Sorry we haven't written in a while, we had a hard time finding a good price for the internet in Athens. Actually, to be honest, we didn't try too hard because we've been having so much fun!! We spent two days in Athens after a very long flight from Toronto. Unfortunately the first day I was mostly jet lagged so we had a early night, but the second day we saw the Acropolis which may be the most amazing old thing I've ever seen! Alex really loved it. We also did a lot of shopping. Today we arrived to Santorini by ferry and we can't believe how amazing and beautiful this island is. We walked around a lot (mostly uphill), swam at the pool in our hotel (which is also the coolest hotel ever... when your not lost in it) and ate dinner while we watched the sunset over a neighbouring island. This is the stuff honeymoon's are made of!! Thanks for your posts, we are having so much fun here but we miss you all!

Hi Tamara and Alex, it looks as though you guys are having a great time. Thanks for posting the pictures, its fun to follow your trip and enjoy Greece vicariuosly. Not too many pretzels Alex....remember 300. The hotel looks great and that pool must be nice after a 35 deg day. And Tamara, by the look on your face we are not convinced that you like ouzo. Hiya Mya and Alex, Wow, what an amazing place and I love the surroundings and it is so romantic...........awww.....so sweet....love you both, have a wonderful time, which I am sure you are, we are all fine here, absolutely hot right now, it has been over 30 degrees just about all week,........nice for some......ugh for others.......lol.........no, no paint fumes this time.......lol..........anyway, have a great time and we will chat soon, keep the pics coming.........love you
