Life in the Cyclades seems to be pretty much normal. It's hard to tell that Greece is having economic difficulty in this cluster of holiday islands. The city was destoyed by the volcanic eruption in the 17th century BCE.

This is one of the murals that was removed from the ruins of Akrotiri. A few of the murals are in the Archaeological Museum in Fira. The rest of the murals are in the Athens Museum.
