fish restaurant...fish restaurant...fish restaurant...

head is still on, doesn't bother me a bit as I devour it all!
Ok boys and gals, it been wild over here. Sad to report this is our last night on Mykonos. It's been awesome but we are happy to "change it up," and visit Paros, which is where they say I'll get more of the true Greek experience.

Last night we headed into "town," being there is only one main town, and went to a fish restaurant called Koulenas. It was recommended by my pals on Trip Advisor and boy were they right! You literally select your fish, and bang it's tossed on an outdoor grill. Chris and myself split one large Seabass, four large shrimp, and some calamari. The server claimed they were all caught today, and I truly believed it. I will say it really was the freshest fish I have ever consumed. We also tore through two carafes of wine and at 5.50 Euro a carafe, you know I felt great getting a deal like that! Great spot, reasonably priced, just a little hard to find in the maze of alleys. (It's purposely a maze for two reasons; to confuse invading pirates back in the day {the regualr type of pirates} and to help reduce the harsh winds that

would hit these port towns)

After din din, we headed over to SCANDANAVIAN BAR and DISCO - one of the best in town. Except to use the bathroom, we never went inside. Funny how in Europe it's all outdoors enjoying drinks, mingling and even dancing. We met a cool couple from London and we were talking about everything from George Bush, to slang, to what we do for a living. We must of had had 4-5 rounds with them. Funny, first spot I found that served Bud! Nice, I had to grab one - label was a little different but still retained that full bodied pilsner taste...Gotta love Bud and Gotta love the old U.S of A, even over here.

We got a cab home, starving by this point as the fish dinner was light, fired up the laptop, and watched part of Blood Diamond. Finally hit the hey around 4 a.m.

The following day - today, we scootered up to an extremely hard to find, desolate beach called Panormus. I remembered it being featured on the travel channel so I wanted to check it out. Now mind you, we are in the middle of no where

and the place is still trendy as hell. Beds to eat lunch in, cool colors, dj spining lite dance music; it's just a whole other scene over here.

We just got back and visited a neighboring hotel - the MYKONOS GRAND, where we almost stayed and had 2 drinks as the sun began to set over an other island in the distance. This was a true "moment" for me, and I really just took everything in.

Well, gotta run as we have a couples massage scheduled for about a half hour from now. Rough life over here I tell ya, rough life.....

Hope all is well back home with everyone and please pass on this blog to others.

Love,

KC and CB (or is it CC..?)

Thanks for the details-again
That was interesting your point about the confusing alley ways designed that way back in the day to defend against invading pirates. As usual, us blog readers are enjoying all your detailed accounts of the free life enjoying the honeymoon. I'm sure there are more reading than commenting because that is what always happens.
