We spent Saturday morning apart every couple/family did their own thing. Thomas and myself, the newlywed were extremely happy to be alone for the first time in almost a week. we locked the door, closed the shutters and ---- watched a movie.
how pathetic.
Oh, and we picked up our new pop-up tent. excited that we're gonna camp tonight...
On our way back to Zurich we drove through the "Black Forest". need I say more?
We arrived at the campsite near the German boarder tired, hungry, in need of beer.
popped up the tent, popped up the beer and ---- were happy.
mosquitoes arrived. we took the beers and crawled into the tent. happy. sleeping. tired.

Thomas: when it stops raining.
we fall asleep.

I fell asleep
It's 5am. I wake up. gotta pee
Return to our spot.
all is wet
I crawl into the car.
I sleepThomas wakes up at 7.
he's in a small pool
mattresses are wet
sleeping bags are wet
Thomas is dry.

Tent in a storm
So positive are you.....congrats! That's successful camping/living ! To turn to problem solving seems silly , given the joy and positive memories eked out of a wet tent night.....just to say there must be many campers eager to help problem solve so that your next night in a tent during a thunderstorm is dry-er
