So today we took a boat tour on the Elbe, the river that goes through Dresden. We passed by a ton of really fancy houses and mansions (that's the best translation I can think of, they're more like small castles). There was even a guy wearing lederhosen waving at us from the shore haha we all found it really funny. The boat stopped at Ratten, which was a really beautiful town that even had a castle. We walked around for a little bit and then took a train back to Dresden, where we had to find out how to get back to our hotel. It was pretty funny, because we were just looking for a quick way back to our hotel but we ended up walking past some of the most beautiful buildings in Dresden, and it was still sunny so I took a ton of more pictures.
