we are alive and well. First a warning: kezboards are different here. the y and z are switched so instead of me retzping everz word with a y, just replace the z with a y in zour mind. we flew from 730am thursdaz morning until 6am fridaz morning then we rode 4 or 5 trains to get to leonburg near stuttgart where Magi, morgan's friend, picked us up. we stazed in Rutteseim in a vacant apartment in a nursing home/senior citizen complex where Magi's father is superintendent. mazbe someone just died or stopped getting old, we dont know. We ate and took a nap. then we went out to Stuttgart with Magi and her friend Dorothy. As luck would have it Magi's cousin was driving to the exact place where morgan and i were heading the verz next morning. so after breakfast(apfelsaft,Brot,Nutella, pflaumemarmalade, und eire) with Magi, we got a ride(25 euro by train)to Bodenseehof with her cousin. Lake Bodensee is a beautiful lake on border of germany, Switzerland, and austria surrounded bz orchards and vinzards. thez gave us rooms and fed us some lunch. we got to see what we might be working on but we are still uncertain as the

maintenance crew is not present. mz guess is that we will be tiling a couple shower rooms. we were told that the maintenance crew usuallz works from 7am to 7pm. a week long soccer camp is starting todaz at the school so i hope to get a game in sometime soon. We ran along a countrz road winding its waz up through the vinyards and orchards in the hills leading awaz from the lake before we had dinner with 50 soccer kids. tomorrow we maz take a couple bikes to a cafe on the waz to friedrichshafen and then go down to the beach on the bodensee with a kayak. We begin work Mondaz morning. apparentlz the crew we will be working with onlz speaks german. we have been trzing to learn as much german as possible, but it seems like it will be difficult. more later as the storz develops. joshua g
