Old City WallsUp early breakfast and on the bus into Nuremberg saw the old city walls and walked up to the Imperial castle got a great view of the city ….headed down the hill and all the main points of history to the market Square ….had a coffee at a well-known biscuit maker / cafe and saw the clock on the cathedral with sound and movement ….Met at the fountain at 12:30 and walked to the bus through the modern part of the city full of high-end stores ….back to the boat and had some lunch followed by a interesting talk by Hunor about the history of the locks and canals on the river ….We then spent some time up on deck at some of the deepest locks of 25 m and an aqueduct ….enjoyed a few drinks and had a lovely dinner for our 24th wedding anniversary and some after dinner drinks.
