Like I said, this entry will be short as well, and let's face it, Heidelberg being a university town and out in the sticks will not have that many interesting things to see. Lots of bars though!

It is the one of the only towns that were not
bombed during WWII and it looked that way with the pubs and houses
still looking like they were before the war and cobblestones will
lining up the streets. We saw the hill where Hitler and his minions
would come and talk to the young people about his propaganda.
Heidelberg I think still retains that charm of pre WWII. Locals seem
to be quite friendly. There is a huge church in the middle. Whilst
not as impressive as St Pauls and Westminster Abbey, it was still a
huge church, There is also a bridge going across the river Neckar.
Whilst the bridge itself is not that spectacular, the entrance to it
was. After that we went to have some hot chocolate – a heisse
schokolade from Lindt. We were just about to return to the bridge
when it started raining. The bridge will have to wait till next time
as we boarded our coach to stay dry and onwards we went to the hotel
in Reilingin for

Oops - another street of Heidelberg - didn't realise I had one already
our overnight stay.

Until tomorrow.
