We arrived in Germany in the afternoon (I think!) and made the decision to stay in Frankfurt that day. We were a little EXHAUSTED!

We found a hotel using the hotel reservation service they had in the airport (very simple - but probably not the cheapest option). The room was nice - very modern looking. Showered and changed, we went out looking for trouble!

Of course the Australian cafe was the first place we had a drink!

I became very good at saying (and excuse the spelling) sprechenzie English! On all but one occasion the answer was "A little bit", their a little bit was quite a lot really!

We walked around a bit, but couldn't stay up very long, so back we went to the Hamburger Hotel!
