22 October: I wake up really early in the next morning at Lises place, because today I'm going to Warsaw the Capital of Poland and my train leaves at 10.20 I'm so exited! At the train I continue reading my travel book, I love it especially the main character because the writer really makes her feel like a real person. Right in time 10.20 after 3,5 hours the train arrives to Warsaw Central station. In Warsaw my main goal is to go to the Museum of polish Jews, which seems really interesting. I must say that during the beginning of my trip I've learned a lot about Second World War. The museum is in the old ghetto parts of Warsaw. When I come to the museum I get really fascinated by the architecture of the building. The shape is rectangular with very sharp edges and the material is silvery...ish hard to discribe. The inside of the museum is if possible even more spectacular. I ask man who looks like he works at the museum who's the architect behind this building and he tells me that it's a finish man called: Rainer Mahlamäki. Unfortunately the exhibition is not as fantastic as the building. Outside the museum a dog comes running at me, I start cuddling with it and it's so cute. But I just can't find the owner! I go to the police with the dog and fortunately the dog belongs to an old and rich lady who loves her little Milou which is the dogs real name. She is so unbelievably greatful and gives me 2000 zloty which is 4350 Swedish crowns. This is just what a poor traveller like need! To celebrate I eat dinner at a fancy gourmet restaurant called Nolita, It's delicious especially the dessert: blueberry and raspberry panacotta. I have to hurry because my train to Berlin leaves at 6. 5 hours later I'm in Berlin. I love the feeling, coming to a city late at night because all cities are so different at night. Since money is no longer an issue, I've chosen a hotel in Mitte called radisson blu hotel. It's not my cup of tea to stay at fancy hotels but I thought I'd try it when I have the chance.

23 October:

I wake up in my hotel room 8 o'clock the next morning. I get dressed and making my way to the restaurant to get som breakfast. The hotel is really cool because the first thing you see when you come in is a huge aquarium with fishes in all colours possible. But asides from that the hotel is pretty boring and touristy... I'm eating lunch at a super hipster place in a shipping container called "til the cowes comes home" I'm eating a vegetarian salad which is delicious! I would highly recommend that place! Then I go to the Tv tower in Alexander platz, the center of Berlin. I try not to think about the fact that I'm 207 meters up. It's pretty cool to see Berlin like this, I finally understand how the different parts of the city are placed in relation to each other. But when I feel like the tower is wobbling I feel pretty done. Now I feel like I've hade enough of the touristy parts of Berlin. I take a u-bahn-train from Mitte to the more alternative parts of Berlin, Kreutzberg. In Kreutzberg I go to a vegetarian restaurant called Rootz which is a friend of mines favourite restaurant in Berlin so I feel like I have to try it. The place is crowded so I ask a girl in my age who sits alone at a table if I can sit with her. "Ofcourse" she sais. I order a grilled veggie wrap. When I return to the table, the girl is on the phone. It doesn't take long until I realise that she's talking in Swedish. When she hangs up I ask her if she's Swedish. We start talking, her name is Alice, apparently she's from Gothenburg too and we realise we have a few friends in common. The night is still young and we decide that we're going to explore Kreuzbergs night life together. We went to a bar called Junction cafe with a lot of young and hip Berlin people. And after that we went to a punk club with the best music, a lot of cool people and a lot of good looking guys too. Alice is so nice and the best person to party with! See you next week!
