Day 1
We're here in Munich and it's beautiful!

Hotel check in and then off to the Viktualienmarkt, an outdoor food
market that has been in the Munich city center since 1807! Wowee! So
much cured meat for John and flowers for Marleah. We bought tons of
German schnapps made from roots, ate super spicy dönerkebap (Turkish
yumminess), enjoyed the buildings, did some shopping, bought chocolate
for late night snacking and sat at a cafe for coffee and people watching.

We are so tired and it's off to bed for us even though it's only 5:30pm here. Jet lag is blödes!

Day 2

We had big plans for today but after a few hiccups and an ugly sweater return to h&m we had to rearrange our day.

We had the best fall-off-your-chair breakfast pastries, bought new
jackets, picked up our rental car, strolled through the englischer
gardens, had a giggling fun time on paddle boats chasing swans, walked
straight through and hated the disneyland feel of the hofbräuhaus,
thought we weren't gonna make it in the world from exhaustion and
hunger, finally made it to a brewery that seemed so old world and ate
the most incredible German meal and drank the most incredible beer and
we think today ended wonderful even though we changed our plans.

We leave for Salzburg tomorrow and although Munich is conservative and we stand out, we'll definitely miss it.
