It was a beautiful fall day in Munich. We really wanted to try the English Garden while we were there. We walked through a park to get to the actual garden. When we got there we were pleasantly suprised! There were park benches set in an open area. There were a few food areas set up cafeteria style. You can pick and choose what you want to eat. Anything from pretzels to knoddle and hot dogs. Yummy! There is also the beer, of course. There is even non-alcoholic beer you can choose from.

When we sat down, the band started to play. The music is traditional german music, the same you fill find in the Octoberfest beer tents. The music, food and beer go along wonderfully together.

After all that wonderful food, you can walk through the vast, lush garden (Kleinhesselohe) and take in some of the sites. Many locals typicaly go to the park to relax, bike ride, or picnic.
