In case you were wondering, prost is a German toast 😊

Quote of the weekend: "When in Munchen, do the Munchens!" = courtesy of Natalie on our first night in Munchen, land of the Munchens.

Well this weekend's adventure led us to Munich, where all we did was drink beer and eat. lol. We did a lot of walking too though. We walked all over Munich, literally. I feel like I didn't really see much of the actual city itself though, well the touristy sights and stuff at least. I did, however, see the world's largest cuckoo clock go off today at 11 a.m. From the beginning though we all started out on the same train to Munich, however, something happened. Michelle, Kayleigh and I didn't reserve a train with everyone else apparently. We were on their train trying to figure out where we sit and nothing made sense. Their cars were numbered 20, 21, 22, etc. but our reservation said 3-- something. Needless to say things weren't adding up. Natalie looked at our reservation and said umm...this isn't you train. Kayleigh freaked out and said "Get off now! Get off the train!" It was kind of funny. So we kind of just hung out in Zurich for an hour until our train showed up. I was a little nervous about when we got to Munich just because we had no idea where our hostel was. BUT...when we got off the train we ran into Jason. I was so excited to see him that I gave him a big hug because I thought that we had been stranded and were going to have to ask around and find directions. That wouldn't have been a big deal but it's just a lot easier to not have to do that sort of thing. Then Natalie showed up!! It was amazing 😊 We dropped off Kayleigh at her hostel which was right next to ours We stayed at a place called Jaegers. We got free jaeger shots 😊 We went to Wombats because it was Raleigh's birthday and hung out for a bit. The next morning we got up early and went to Dachau That right there is it's own entry. It was an emotionally draining yet rewarding experience that I shall write on later and in full detail. First I have to really the adventures in Munchen. After returning to Munich from Dachau we went back to the hostel to relax and "nap." After that we went into Munich to explore (that is Me, Natalie and Liza and Michelle) and Liz went ot the Hunting Museum and see dead animals. The four of us though wandered aimlessly around for a bit and then set a mission to go to the English Gardens but we settled for the Hoffgarten. We each got a beer. While we were sitting there I saw this 5 year-old-child drinking with her dad. It was very strange. Before we got there though we asked this police woman on how to go and she had us go around this long way when we were practically there. Michelle, Liza and Natalie all had on black boots and did this walk like in Hocus Pocus. It was really funny. We had a lovely dinner as a big group for Raleigh's birthday. After dinner we went to the Haufbrauhaus (sp?) and drank liters of beer. They were delicious. American beer doesn't even compare. We stayed till it closed and then came home and passed out. It was such a nice and relaxing time. Munich looks like something out of a fairy
