Saint-Cirq-Lapopie

We continued westward along the beautiful Lot valley and drove along some
magnificent roads which wound there way around limestone cliffs high above the
river, eventually arriving at the picturesque village of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie
an ancient settlement built on a rocky bluff above the waters.

A 250K drive followed, firstly along the river to Cahors and the northwards to stay with Lynne Hilton who lives in a hamlet just beyond Nontron.
