Our first call of the day was at Locronan, a hilltop village that has remained frozen in time with no new building. In the summer its probably a busy tourist centre but today it was blissfully quiet. We had an excellent workers lunch at one of the small restaurants.

With full stomachs we moved onto Quimper, an attractive small city on the river Odet which is dominated by its white cathedral. It is famous for its Fiance, hand painted tin glazed earthenware, and we had a tour round H-B Henriot, one of the two producing factories.

We stayed in the municipal campsite quite close to the city centre.
