The countdown is growing shorter, as a prepare for my trip. 5 days left until i fly to New York! I am getting both excited, and also a little scared. I have to start packing my 44 pound limit bag. I also need to get all the little details together, like money and a few miner essentials like shampoo and shoes.
I will be arriving in New York on the night of the 27th, spending the night in a hotel by myself, and then attending a two day orientation. Following this I will fly to Paris, where the true adventure begins!
I am ready to experience another culture, while being a positive young ambassador of the United States. I hope to learn more about myself while learning from others. La France, ici je viens !
