Left Nice early. Ate lunch in a Fed Bldg in Avignon. Froze to death. Arrived in Lyon about 6 and ate at 7:30. First of our lodgings like a motel . Stayed in our room and talked.

Left Nice early and had a long ride to Lyon. We stopped for lunch in Avignon and almost froze to death. Patty and I found a government bldg. to keep warm and eat. It was crazy & we drank another bottle of vino. Got to Lyon about 6:00 pm and stayed at International Nord (was motel like in America) Nothing much to do here.
