Tuesday 31 mars

The sun is back! But probably just for a while. The low pressure is still circling around the place.

Yesterday we got a big surprise after breakfast! M,P and K told us to come out on the porch, and then there were singing and presents and champagne, the real deal, from our local store. Thanks! And a present from O,S,G,K och S as well. Yes, a small Easter egg with a big gift in it! One night at fashionable Hotel Rogge in Strängnäs, with the whole works at the town’s most well renowned spa, Må Bra, including a Jacuzzi on the top of Strängnäs! Thanks guys, you’re terrific!

After the superb breakfast, including Natalie’s best choice of Champagne, we took a walk in the neighborhood. Cloudy but no rain. And obviously a lot of flowers and plants and trees to be excited about…

We got a text message from H. He’s home. In one piece. Got home at 5 Monday morning. Be aware, all you air-travelers!

Yesterday night was a special one as well. We had a troubadour in the kitchen, and a spa-therapist, who gave us a present that we tried right

Sweet!
Looks nice you little lovebirds you! (It's well earned;-) What's the english-level over there? Do you get by or resort to french? Who owns the houses, is it mostly locals or businesspeople from Nice or foreigners? How's the price level (excluding the *awful* exchange rate)? And does your feet still feel like babys feet? Ha det bäst! /Jonas (som borde jobba istället just nu men det är så najs att drömma sig bort till södra frankrike ett tag)(Eller bort från Sumpan)

Keep on "working", J!
The price level is just about the same as home. Maybe a little more expensive, except for domestic items, like red wine and champagne... The English level though is zero. Except for people in the tourist business in Nice. So I have to use my whole French vocabulary of like ten words. But it's increasing...! All the houses in this village seem to be owned by locals. We're definitely the only foreigners around!
