We got back to Brussels late monday, we travelled the 170 km to Roye. A small town just beside the autoroute. We continued to Paris and did sightseeing on wednesday. "Place de la Concorde" was an obvious place to visit. We walked Champ Elysse, the Arch de Triomphe and the tour Eiffel, and finally a stroll along the Seine. Paris looked very dirty and not very well maintained. There a couple of years since last visit, but the town and the people seemed to be very exhausted

We left Paris and headed for Versailles. The castle and the garden is bigger than my imagination, i really wonder what where in the heads of people building such giant monuments. The same goes for the Eiffel Tower, Champ Elysse and the Arch of Triomphe.

It was nice to leave the noise of the big city behind and travel to a small town along the Bray sur Seine. Here we could listen how quiet it was, in the evening absolut silence. In Bray sur Seine there was a huge market filling the whole senter. Cathrine went shopping. Saturday our travel took us to Pommarn, Nolay and Beaune. In the middle of burgundy wine district. It was winegrapes everywhere. Chablis and Chateau saint Emelion where among the local wine and was priced at 4-5€. Easy life and choice. Sunday took us to Trevoux. With a real rest after an early dinner. Our last stop this week was in Beaune.
