Day 17 - PARIS in the Sun After a bit of a sleep in, we headed to Paris. Of all the places we have taken pictures, the plaza around the Arc was the place we all felt the most expressive. Maybe it was the day, or the atmosphere, but we were having a great time ... (Ok, maybe it was the vodka from dessert).

We ran into other people with pets, we just had to take a group photo.

By this time, we weren't really interested in what everything was, or it's history, though I am sure it would be interesting. you can see some of the setup for the huge party/parade in mid July.

It looks really cool, shiny, watery, blue.... at this point, we don't really have the energy to care much, so we just admire the beautiful art and architecture, and leave it at that.

Several times, we took some time away from the heat to sit in the shade and talk about what we have seen and any other topic that came to mind.

The floors in the Louvre Mall were just slick enough that you can slide over them with some initial force, but not slip while walking. So, of course, Tony and Michelle found a way to make it a thrill ride.
