The TourThe TourThe Tour

This is my favourite shot!
This was definitely one of the best days of this trip!

Down along the Champs Elysees we managed to get an awesome spot to see the end of the Tour. We waited for about 3 hours but it was worth it. The street was alive with so much atmosphere and excitement while everyone tried to get in the best position to capture all of the action as the riders came into town.

The speed at the riders go past is unexpected, they were still going quickly even at the end of the race. We timed one of the laps and it was 7 minutes 15 seconds. I managed to get more than 250 shots, I still haven’t gone through all of them but I have managed to get some ready for the blog.

After the laps were over, we headed back to the hotel, only to leave not long after for Dinner and the show at Moulin Rouge.

The Moulin Rouge I guess is a typical icon of Paris but it did not disappoint. The way the auditorium is decorated really sets the mood and the show was unbelievable - a must do for anyone who visits Paris!
