Today was the day that I feared the most, Driving to Paris, but with no clear address of airport Charles de Gaulle with us.
We planned to drive the car to the airport, outside Paris and take the train to the hotel.
But things went different than planned, the GPS couldn't find any address, not even the airport itself, so we added the address of the hotel to it, and hoped for seeing signs of Charles de Gaulle airport when we're close,
Apparently we entered from the wrong side, because there were no signs to find.
So eventually i decided just to get rid of my fear of driving in crowded cities, and just drive straight through Paris.
I heard everyone complaining about the scary roundabouts and the mad driving skills of the French men.. they were completely right, but apparently i got the same weird driving style, coz it did not bother me at all.
After finding the street of the hotel, it was a TOUGH job to find a parking space, Paris has way to many car for the less parking spaces.
I asked to stop for directions and help, and when i opened my window
and asked, the girl said. "Hey, is it you Maris?" I thought i died, who does expect that to happen in a crowded city as Paris (It was nice to meet you Laurie, too bad i did not get to see you after that)
After driving around for what seemed hours, we finally found a parking garage and i drove down, and of course, i kinda scraped the wall there, because it was so damn small, but they were prepared for that coz there was some rubber goo pasted on the wall, to prevent scratches.
The hotel was on a 15 minute walk distance, and we were there on time to get ourselves freshened up and head to the venue,
I was so excited, because i was finally about to meet my Sara Pixie and my MiniKiki. I contacted them that i was in line, in front of the door, and my heart jumped for a moment when i got a text from Kiki that she was behind me. I turned around and saw one of my favorite girls that i met the past year. Hugs and laughter, and handing over presents to each other, and even a
few tears. And There was Sara too. (Ladies, i just love you much too much, and Truly Madly Deeply, which we did not sing after all)
They wrote the most amazing book for the boys, and gave me a copy of it too.. Thank you for letting me be the guest star in your awesome fairy tale.
I went Back in line in front of the door, but apparently the Paris people never heard about early entrance, because they pushed me aside when i wanted to go in first. But i had my space near the keyboard at the end after all.
There were lots of young people and i finally had my chance to reply "His name is Amanduh" when i heard someone talking about Jasper.
I can not talk much about the girl that was standing next to me, but in any way, she was DAMN weird and kept shaking her boobs at the boys.
The energy in the club was good, but you could definitely seperate the 100 monkey fans from the ones who were there for "Jasper" but as long as they enjoyed the show and loved the music, i'm fine
with it.
After Keep awake, Ben walked up to me and tossed me his mr Hankey guitar pick and smiled his wide smile.
The front row space we promised to get during signings were a fact, thanks to Will helping us out and let us stand at the merch table.
They signed my Fairytale book from Kiki and Sara, and of course i asked Ben if he could sign my mr Hankey, which he did.
After the show we stood on the sidewalk to chat for a while, because we all had to go a seperate way. The venue was slowly emptying but there were still a lot of fan girls outside the venue. When the little bus came to stuff their stuff in it, the crowd got mad. I stood there chatting with my girls and got pushed of off the sidewalk (almost against a driving car) by screaming fangirls.
That was the right time to go our own way, to our own hotels.

Hi Maris, just want to say that i really love that you share your trip in Europe and the feelings on the gig\'s. Did you went to Sweden? Sweden was a lot like what you describe in this publicing, a lot of twillight fans that did\'nt even know the music which is kind sad, i think. Anyway, hope your trip only will get better. Take care @Pekkarii
