Louvre
Bonjour,

Breakfast at the Innova was frenchly different to the full breakfast enjoyed in Ireland. Though my waistline will benefit i am sure. I took two metros to Chalemagne Statue just near Notre Dame. Did some sightseeing then met the tour guide for my cycling tour of Paris. Paul from BikeAboutTours set us up with bikes and the peleton hit the streets.

I highly recommend this tour. Like most other personally guided tours, you saw things and heard stories that are truly unique. Paul (from New Zealand) view of the city is from a downunder perspective, with all the knowledge of a local. We stopped at his favourite cafe and I ordered the baguette, drink and dessert. There were many jhighlights including a trail of discovery for the movie Ratatoille. The makes of the movie fashioned many parts of the movie on real locations. We saw the original restaurant and many other locations perfectly replicated in the animated movie. It was a hot day in Paris, would have exceeded 30 degrees, so quite a change from Ireland. The tour finished after 4.5hrs (1.5 hrs late) with all the fantastic things that Paul illuminated us to. I headed back to

Eiffel Tower at Night
the hotel and slept for 2 hours.

Rejuvinated, I changed and at 6pm headed out for round two. 2 metro stops to Montparnasse where there is the second tallest building in Paris, which locals say is the box that the Eiffel tower came in. Went to the 56th floor and took photos of the view (oh and bought a drink at the bar which is the only reason they let you near the window. however is cheaper than buying the tour. Metro again to the Saint Chapelle and Louvre for some awesome sunset shots, then walked what seemed 5km to Bateaux Mouches for a 70 minutes Seine River cruise at night. Just wonderful - saw the tower again. Cant tire of that one. 2 metros back to hotel for 11pm arrival.

Now to pick 1 photo from around 400 memorable photos.
