here is me painting on the streets of paris, posing for you jen Tuesday night I attended my first soccer game ever! France was at home playing against Columbia and it was probably way more exciting than any soccer game in the states. Everyone in the stadium (which there were no empty seats) brought their contry's flag, so we decided to buy their popular scarves worn at games that say france. i love mine and cant wait to rock it in the states! The first half was pretty exciting and France scored once. after buying two beers we all discovered they only serve nonalcoholic beer in the stadium, i was pretty upset. on the way to the game we got on the metro with a bunch of columbia fans who were chanting and drinking and banging on the ceiling of the train as we headed towards the stadium. it was so exciting i had to take video of them, and when we got off the train the columbian guys asked to take a picture with us. they said its not every day they meet pretty american girls in paris. what a line. there were so many police officers surrounding the stadium with helmets and clubs in hand, i was so excited because i really
wanted to see a riot! i didnt but that was probably for the best! france won 1 to 0 so most of the crowd was pretty happy.
Wednesday night we met at the arc d'triomphe and went to the top. there isnt an elevator, so we walked up the longest spiral stair case ever! i thought i was going to die and on the way down puke... but the views up top were beautiful! we walked down the champs elysees afterwards to look at all the expensive shops. we went into the three story louis vuitton store right before it was closing to look around. it was absolutely gorgeous! ian would be jealous..
well im off to painting class. we are taking a trip to the loire valley this weekend so i will blog when i get back!
love you

I can't wait to see all of your work honey. have a great time in the loire valley - i was wondering if you were going to Normandy - it is the anniversary of "D DAY" invasion at normandy on June 6. any news about that over there? - love ya MOM
