Well we're finally in Europe. Our first impressions of paris weren't the greatest. We caught a train to our hotel. To get there we had to swap trains. It was the scarest train. It was like a ghetto. There was people everywhere in wutang looking gear. We had our big packs and thought we were going to get stabbed. We decided to catch a taxi to our hotel. Justin thought the taxi was going to rip us off so we tried to pretend we knew where we were going. It was funny. Justin also likes to try and talk in there language. When we were in frankfurt he said merci which is thankyou in french but we were in Germany haha. Anyway we got there and and it was a decent hotel. We went and found something to eat and fell asleep for about 14 hours. The strangest thing is it doesn't get dark till about 10.30 and it's light about 6. The next day we went and had breakfast. We are on a tight budget and there was a basket full of bread rolls so we started fill our bag with rolls when no one was looking. We thought we would walk for as long as we could to save money. First we went to a perfume museum, thats not interesting at all. We also saw the opera house. Then we walked to Champs-Elyees (Emma you would love the shops over here). On the way we stopped at an awsome church and Justin told me to take photo's of him. There was a big sign (we saw after) that said no photo's. He then climbed up on a statue to get a photo and the security guard went to get someone else. I swear he was trying to get arrested. We had a look at the Arc De Tromphe and the Eiffel Tower. We didn't go up the line was huge. We also went and saw the Notre Dame and then the catacombes. The catacombes are insane. It's old mining tunnels filled with bones that you walk through. Justin was in his element, haha. There is homeless people and beggers everywhere and you hear sirens all day long. I liked Paris but I didn't understand why everyone said it was romantic. We are off to Amsterdam next and can't wait
