On the beach at le Tourquet
We’re off! Keston to Boissy-Saint –Leger Paris
We took the 6.30am Sea France ferry from Dover to Calais.
From our friends advice we thought we would have a look at le Tourquet on route. We wasn’t disappointed. The town and surrounding area is wonderful not to mention the beach it is one of the cleanest beaches We’ve seen.
After a brief stop outside amiens we sped onward towards Paris where we intended to spend two nights on the outskirts with our friends Margaret, Laura and Jimmy . Kim used be neighbours with Margaret but she also lives in France .
Alison who unfortunately was at the helm of the Bongo when we entered the heart of the Paris motorway system, had to negotiate the Parisienne rush hour. Thank goodness for SatNav.
When we arrived at the house we were sad to hear Laura was in Hospital but hoped to be out next day. It didn’t stop Margaret providing a warm welcome with limitless Champagne. We slept soundly...
