Making an incredibly early start was easy today, having camped in Oliver who was very pleased to see us we didn’t have the best nights rest, some slight alterations to the back seat to allow us to put the front ones down would have made all the difference. You haven't mentioned much about the difference between caravaning and camping...
but did see that you had to set up camp in the rain. When we first moved to Europe, we bought a tent and went camping in the Netherlands. It was raining the day we had to pack up the tent, and that was such a miserable experience that, given the probability of rain in Northern Europe, we never went camping in Europe again. We did camp in Minnesota years later, and again it rained. I hope the weather cooperates for you!
