The start of the saison

Unbelievable but there's going to be an update from far far away.
I didn't have internet for a while and my time to actually do something like updating my blog is rather short.

Anyway of course we do have a lot of snow by now and we're on sleds since a few weeks.

Before the saison started we've already been on sleds and it's again like heaven to stand of one them having the dogs in front of you! It's better than heaven on earth to be honest. But it's also so different to the tour I did in Norway. There the ways were sooo easy, no bumps nothing and I was falling of a sled there twice... and here we have bump, in the beginning we didn't have snow everywhere, we did have waterholes where the dogs and we have to jump over ... and so far I didn't manage to fall down... impressive!
The best thing so was to drive alone, well I did have Sabrina with me on my free day last week. She wants to work as a vet helper here and is now looking if she likes the place here or not. First of all it was sooo good to drive in front, it was just so quiet and the weather was fantastic, you were able to see a bit of the sun right over a little mountain nearby and the sky was red all over. It was like out of a movie, juts unbelievable amazing!

Other than that there were also some difficulties here in the last few days that made me feel depressed. I don't want to write what excactly because it's not something for the internet and I just see how it's going to go on in the next few weeks. One of the things that I can probably write online is, that I don't like to work with the horses so much but I just hope that this situation is going to change soon. :-)

By now I almost know every dog by it's name... think of that, me, who cannot remember ANY name normally.

The saison is still really quiet but from after Xmas it's going to be fully booked :-)
Oh and we have about 2hrs of daylight left.. does not mean that you see the sun... it's just saying daylight ;-)

Kaum zu glauben aber es gibt nochmal ein Update von weit weit weg.
Ich hatte kein Internet und daher keine Moeglichkeit das hier upzudaten. Sorry!

Natuerlich haben wir inzwischen Schnee und stehen seit ein paar Wochen auf den Schlitten.
Es ist wirklich wie Himmel auf Erden auf den Schlitten zu stehen, wenn nicht sogar besser. Es ist halt total anderes als mein Trip in Norwegen. Dort waren die Wege glatt und total leicht. Trotzdem habe ich es da geschafft 2x vom Schlitten zu fallen. Hier hatten wir teilweise gar keinen Schnee an manchen stellen oder Wassergraeben ueber die die Hunde und auch wir springen mussten. Und bis jetzt bin ich noch nie runtergefallen hier.
Am schoensten war jedoch wo ich letzte Woche an meinem freien Tag, zusammen mit Sabrina, die hier sehr wahrscheinlich als Tierarzthelferin anfangen will, alleine rausgefahren bin. Diese ruhe und endlich mal niemanden vor sich zu haben war fantastisch. Noch dazu das Wetter. Man hat ein wenig von der Sonne gehen und der Himmel war knatschrot... wie man es sonst nur von Filmen kennt, aber das hier ist Realitaet... total unglaublich!

Ansonsten hatte ich auch einige Schwierigkeiten die letzten Wochen, die aber nicht ausfuehrlich hier ins Internet gehoeren. Eins davon ist bloss dass ich hoffe dass ich wieder mehr mit Hunden arbeite als mit Pferden, aber ich sehe es positiv dass es sich in naechster Zukunft auch wieder aendert.

Noch dazu weiss ich inzwischen fast alle Hundenamen :-) Auch ganz nett.. und Tageslichtstunden haben wir noch ca. 2 ... also Tageslicht, das heisst nicht, dass man auch die Sonne sieht.

Die Saison hat jetzt erstmal langsam angefangen, aber ab nach Weihnachten ist's ausgebucht, mal sehen wie es wird :-)

Hi... bin gerade zufällig auf diesem 'blog' gelandet, da mich die Tätigkeit als Doghandler momentan sehr interessiert und i evtl. auch bald mal auf diesem Wege Nordeuropa, aber in erster Linie das 'Rudelleben' kennenlernen möchte. Deine Berichte sind klasse ! Bleib bitte am Ball :) gr, Frank
