Arrived in Århus......got into a nice hostel...but the people there were.....-__-"
Either they are in groups not in my dorm and never in the hostel, or...have a few weird guys in my dorm room........-__-"
Anyways, Århus seems to be a very nice town with a very very vibrant night life...
My hostel is right behind the bar and cafe street along this river..and wow! so much reminded me of Ljubljana! with people just crowded along the river eating and drinking at night....! I havent actually walked into the city centre...but seems like its a pretty big city..
First full day, and the only one, was devoted to Legoland! wahhahaaa! got up early and just headed there right away..had to take a train then a bus.
The bus driver didn't charge money on the way to Legoland! haaaaaa! jiang!!^^"
Legoland was kinda expensive....but it was a great day and its a Must Go anyways..haa!
and well, as expected..I LOVED IT!!! I had my mood all up for it so I was hyper when I got in and saw all those Lego figures!! Immediately after going in, you see this miniture world made with lego.....they had motorized stuff as well so
it was amusing to watch!!! haaa.
They had the GotaRiver part from Sweden which I saw the real thing..(and the lego one actually...looks nicer! haaaaa!!!), Had USA, Japan (which actually was quite detailed!), and Copenhagen of course....and other places...! many of them have kids boat and train running around to see the sights and of course...I got on them!! haaaa....weird though...it was all families and stuff and the kids just stared at me..haaa!
Next went to get on some "more" exciting rides. Got on this Xtreme Rider and WOWOWOWOW! It was FUN!!! Nothing near exciting...but it was FUN! haaaaa...my favourite ride there!!! and there was no queue for the rides as well so I can go on many times!!!=) The other one called Dragon Ride is not bad as well. It started off slowly...into this castle to see many lego figures again...just as I thought this was a calm sightseeing ride...it leaves the castle and BOMB! you are thrown up and down!!!...hak sei ngor ah! haaaaa!!!
Then, almost time for the bus and how can I leave without buying Lego!?! They actually don't have a lot of good lego sets.......only the city collection which isn't that interesting..........ended up...buying
a Lego Tic Tac Toe set!!! Wahahaaaa! its not too big...(still gotta send it home...) and not too expensive as well...=) haaaa....The shop was disappointing though, thought could get more stuff....
Got back to the city and stayed in the whole night.....
Today, first planning to take the 1427 train down to Hamburg and then to Brussels....So I got the morning. Spend some time walking around the town, went to the post office to mail the package and DAMN! 24Euros to mail 1kg by surface mail!!!! holy crap......><"
Then, walked around town and the festival hasnt yet started, so I went into the Womens Museum for an hour...interesting facts and history about the womens right development!=)
Time for the festival! This year, their topic is "In Motion"...and in the town square, they have all these independent artist from different countries to set up a performance. First, went to this small theatre show and it was GOOOOOOD! They were French and first, you need to stick your head into this...big box theatre, then they do some talk-show thingie and show these films....Very interesting topics!!!! haaaaa!! I Loved It!!!!!
Then, there was this by some English. Its about sleeping
and its a kinda comedy...the message...I still can't really figure out clearly, but it was a fun 10 min. performance!
Next went to the Spanish one and they had these motorize puppets of different scenes...quite nice ne!!
Around the city, they had tons of music performances and educational tents...the city was so lively!
Århus has one of Northern Europe biggest Art Museum..ARoS...so, I decided to not go to Hamburg and take a later train to Brussels.
ARoS was HUGE! OMG...they had really nice Art there...although I didn't look at every piece in details...but I liked a lot of the comtempoary work! They will have a exhibit by this Japanese artist next month!! ahhhhh!! It looked really nice and interesting! too bad its not on yet....=(
Got so much food..gonna make so many sandwiches to bring with me for dinner and tomorrow's breakfast...and maybe even lunch! HAAAAAA!
i have noticed....The people here do not J-walk!.....so gooood....
