I have learned that Travelblog offers a cool functionality for displaying the travel route. It is based on Google Earth, but unfortunately you must have both Google earth and the map tool running simultaneously in order to navigate and mark the right destinations of your travel route.

This is not too complicated as long as you have some obvious landmarks or citys to navigate for. However when it comes to Mongolia and other rural parts where cities are missing, this is quite a task to mark all places correctly. Nonetheless, this has been done and you can find the route map of the total trip below, where it has been split into three separate parts to contribute with the best overview of each region:

Route map 1/3 Russia, Mongolia and China
Please notice that the starting point of this map is central Beijing. You will have to zoom out and go backwards to see all stops. I need to remake the entire map and save it in satelite view, so thats gonna take a while before the current map is replaced.

Route map 3/3 China, Taipei and Japan
