Hi Everyone We flew from Bergen to Copenhagen in Denmark and the unthinkable happened,went to pick up my suitcase and it wasn’t there, Had to go and fill out forms,keeping everybody waiting at the bus. The next day they sent it to the hotel,that was a relief,couldn’t contemplate no suitcase on the cruise!!allgood We spent yesterday morning on a coach for 3 hrs around the city of Copenhagen,it was very interesting place,very old,with some amazing buildings,we saw the famous little mermaid . In the afternoon we took a canal cruise for 1 hour,and saw where Princess Mary and Frederick lives. 2 April – 15 May 2019 After returning from the Caribbean we did the usual annual jobs and visited friends and family. We collected Astrid 2 and stayed with James's parents for two nights to get to grips with her controls. It was very kind of Maria and Martin to let us have a couple of nights in a real bed, also giving us time to check for faults before we left the dealership area. Until we drove back to Anna's in Wantage we did not have the bedding and cooking utensils to sleep in her so it was lovely to have some luxury before we moved into Astrid. Went to a museum in Nuremburg yesterday about Hitler and how the Nazi party started, really informative if not the most fun filled activity. Then the long drive to Prague. Tom drive it and I think he was happy to be rid of the car at the end of the stint. Then a few drinks in the hostel followed by a late night. Early rise for me (6:00 run as promised) but them straight back to bed. When everyone eventually woke up we spent the day walking round Prague and now we're all shattered. Everyone has heard of Lego, but something you may not know is that it was invented in Denmark. The famous Legoland is found in the city of Billund. Basically, it's a giant park with some rides, but mostly structures made strictly from Lego pieces. I know, it's pretty cool. When I went, back in 2007, I went with some friends of my mom's. We had to drive three hours to get there, but my sister and I were so excited. The funny part is that three hour car ride is about the distance it takes to drive from one end of the country to the other; that's how small Denmark is.
