Erudite and Sophisticated

We were walking along a street in downtown Prague and Nancy noticed a hat shop. So we stopped to have a look at both the hats for ladies and for men. I must say there were very nice hats for both genders. I, Bill, pointed out one for men and asked Nancy how I would look in it.

"Not so good," was her reply.

"You mean I would not look like a erudite and sophisticated European gentleman?"

To her credit Nancy did not roll on the floor laughing, but she left little doubt that a sophisticated hat does not make Bill an erudite and sophisticated European. Oh well ................

Sarah, enjoy the hats. Shoes may come later.
