ThanksgivingThanksgivingThanksgiving

My friends from my TEFL course around the thanksgiving table; Fil, Jill, Bene, Abby, me, Lauren and Eric.
I spent Thanksgiving day teaching English, at CSOB Bank...definitely not the same as sleeping in at home, watching the parade on TV, and going to Grandma's for dinner. I only had one lesson in the morning though, which would have been fine, except I went to bed at 3:30 the night before because we tried a new club which turned out to be more fun than we planned...but really, who needs more than 3 hours of sleep anyhow?

On Saturday we had a real American Thanksgiving though at the girls' house in Mala Strana. Abby's cousin lives on an air force base in Germany, so she brought some essentials like cranberry sauce, Duncan Hines brownies, pumpkin pie, and of course STOVE TOP STUFFING. We had a little trouble finding a turkey, so we just got two chickens instead and pretended they were turkeys. The mashed potatoes were amazing and Jill found some pre-made gravy at Marks and Spencers, so the meal was amazing. There were 7 of us from our TEFL course and Abby's cousin and her husband. There was no turkey bowl on TV, but German MTV was just as good...
