I must admit, I love Prague! This is the first city, anywhere, that I have gotten what I was truely expecting, the Old Town, the cobbelstone streets, I love it!
The train station on the other hand, is a complete and utter nightmare! its like another world, as soon as you get into the main station people are trying to sell you accomodation, trying to find your way out is a nightmare and the "official" taxis are soo not official, its a private car and you do get ripped off BIG TIME! First hand knowledge of this so be warned people!
Terezin- a small town an hour or so out of Prague which was turned into a Jewish Ghetto during World War 2, the town is still a ghost town, it was so deadly quiet which made the experience even more somber, an actually concentration camp did exist here although the whole town was a ghetto so I dont really know the point of that, but needless to say thousands of people, mainly Jewish all died here.. This was probably the best concentration that I visited, ok that sounded really bad, but it had the most realist feel to
it so you really could get the feeling of how it would have been all those years ago during the Nazi occupation..
Be very careful in restaurants here in Prague too, I got accused of not paying the bill despite the fact that the waiter picked the money up off my table, the cheeky bastard actually chased me down the street and when I asked to see the security camera footage it was refused, the waiter had a smirk on his face the whole time which makes me assume that this wasnt the first time they'd done something like this, and in reality what was I gonna do? I payed the bill again, it was like AUD$10 so wasnt really worth going to a Czech jail for!
I also went out and visited the glass factory here in the Czech Republic which make Bohemia glass, very cool, very very simalar to Waterford glass except so much more unprofessional! People lighting their cigarettes on the glass that they are making... Right....
Finally got to experience some nightlife thanks for McSpads.. We went out to a 5storey club down by the river which is actually really cool as it
Arbeit macht frei
Work will set you free... Written above the entraces to all concentration camps.. of course all prisoners worked.. Of course they were never set free.. has different music on every level so there really is something for everyone, we hit this club with her Contiki crew after the 2 of us got nicely trashed at the Irish pub beforehand! Then to walk into the club and have a shot of Absinthe! ouch.. its more like 3shots, thats how big it is and they have special soons which they light up the shot with.. Burns the whole way down and for at least half an hour afterwards! Now Amanda's a tank when it comes to Alcohol.. Im not.. So that was enough for me for the night, but was great to be out with the girls, dancing the night away, something that I havent done in 4months so that was fantastic!
Off to Krakow now... 3more cities in Europe.. Nearly over...

Hi baby. Time is going quickly now. The lessons you have learnt will be invaluable. Can't wait to hear all the stories in full. Don;t know how I will survive without the 2am phone calls hehehe. Have put the 32 parcels in the loungeroom eagerly awaiting your return. Stay safe and alert Poland will be just as bad.
