Sleepless Night I started my trip to Prague with Michael after a sleepless night! Close up of the 'lucky' plaque on Charles Bridge

Double luck for Michael!

You can see the two areas of this plaque that have been polished by the many people who rub the spots for good luck!

Plaque to those who suffered under Communist oppression

Karel pointed out how the street level vents on this building had been blocked over to prevent those on the street hearing the screams of those who were being interrogated.

We met Michael's friend, Karel, here at 'the horse'.

Charles Bridge special!

Your pictures are beautiful and cooling - nice to see coats and jumpers on while we suffer through 40 degree heat!!! Well done with your photography.... I even rubbed the lucky plaques.
