Farewell party There was a party at my home the 10th of September to say goodbye one last time to all my friends and family. There were little bites to eat and a lot of drinks to go around, including a very tasty margarita thanks to my amazing sister;) I received a couple of wonderful gifts to bring on my trip, to drink before my trip, and to keep after my trip:) You guys made sure I'm not going to forget about you, as if i would otherwise:p Thanks to everybody who was able to come! Oioi, I haven’t actually set of yet but I guess it wouldn’t hurt too much to make like an opening statement and explain a bit what my plans actually are. So, I am going on a round the world trip, doing all kinds of touristy stuff . I will most likely be staying at hostels as they are cheap and not to bad when it comes to comfort(which a tent might be or become after a first or second month of travelling). Also, I haven’t booked any flights yet, I will be booking each flight individually when I plan to leave for the next location, so I can stay longer if I like it there or get out asap when I don’t. Een klein woordje om af te sluiten. Vorige week donderdag ben ik allerhartelijkst ontvangen geweest op de luchthaven door Jasmijn, mama, oma en opa. En de daaropvolgende dagen heb ik op mijn dooie gemak weer enkele passen gezet in mijn echte leven. God dank Jasmijn en Brecht hun goede raad, anders had ik die dagen al volgepropt met honderden activiteiten. Dankjewel allemaal voor het lezen van mijn verhalen. Ik heb de afgelopen week al vernomen dat er zo nu en dan lezersclubjes bijeenkwamen in Gent en Leuven. Dankje voor de vele reacties. Ik heb heel graag voor jullie geschreven.
