Cute Bavarian village
We journeyed to the countryside of Vienna today. Enjoying food, wine, and of course shopping in the little town of Grinzing. We traveled along the hillside of Kahlenberg, going from one vineyard to the next until we reached the Klosterneuburg Abbey (a stunning baroque monastery). The Abbey has been one of Austria's most important religious and cultural centers for 900 years. The combination of practiced faith, the unique art treasures, and the oldest vineyard in Austria gives the monastery its unmistakable charm.

Our day came to a spectacular end with a concert in St. Stephens Catherdral where we heard the young virtuoso Yury Revich (2015 International Classical Young Artist of the Year) play scores from Vivaldi, Mozart, Schubert, Bruckner, and Bach.
