freakin awesome dancers!! i find it really interesting that i can relate a ton of stuff out here to stuff back home in st. louis
like the art museum back home is free on fridays and i spend a ton of time there.
out here, there are hundreds of museums (vienna alone). i mean...coffee museums, war museums, art museums, history museums, torture museums, you name it, they have it. well we went to one today because it's free on saturdays. all morning i kept thinking that i was going to have my very own museum that i could always go to for free (just like home)....welllllll....it wasnt a very good museum. hahaha
at least i went though. it's called the MAK which is short for something very long and very german so im sure you dont care. the entire museum was all textiles...glass, cloth, chairs, desks, things like that. not the greatest. but it was fun to hunt for.
the four of us (me, carly, adam, and jessica) took off at around 10 this morning and caught the U to the Naschtmarkt (the same place i went to yesterday). i figured it would be cool to see it really buzzing

so pretty with ppl on a sat morning. i was so right!! it totally reminds me of the soulard market back home. hundreds of ppl. everywhere. the entire first part is all food and produce and the very back is an enormous flea market that sells everything! it was so crowded and so awesome.
free samples of everything too. there was a ton of dried fruit and we got a dried strawberry that was amazing! then some smoked almonds, some cake, everything. it was an awesome way to explore the food without having to buy it. everything just looks sooooo good! the pastries are awesome and cheap.
there was a ton of war surplus stuff too...but i obviously couldnt help but think about what nazi had it all on hahaha.
but it was fun. really cool. i would love to live by such a market. im such a good negotiator too! you guys would all love it. its hard not to love homemade food, locally grown veggies and fruit, and awesome junk to dig around through. its probably a little over 3/4 of a mile long too. maybe. i could be completely wrong. hahaha

woot!! also ended up back in the city center looking for some particular bank so we wouldnt get drafted $6 everytime we take out money. THERE WERE BREAK DANCERS THERE!! it was so funny. they had a whole show perfectly practiced and rehearsed and made funny jokes about austria and australia ahaha. they wanted money. they didnt get any from us. we are cheap.
bought some groceries. did a ton of walking today. concert tonight. im not sure where or who. but it was cheap. so we will see! we have to go to karlsplatz to get there...so we will get to see all the crack heads at night time. should be interesting 😊
we have an enormous bottle of wine that we got for 2 euros by the way 😊
love
