some cool building. hello everyone!
thank you beth for the email! i think this is going to be really awesome. i do journal all the time, but i think this will help me get in touch with everyone back home! i bought a sim card and i ran out in a matter of hours. haha
oooook!!!
well, where to start!! the plane ride here was pretty good. my first flight was from STL to WASH and i felt every single bump. it was small, and awful, and i bumped my head on the ceiling a number of times. the flight from WASH to VIENNA was sooooo awesome! the women were in all red and very nice and the plane was huge! i didndt have anyone next to me so i could stretch out a bit. i watched the office on the little tvs behind each seat. the wine was free! and the food was good. they ran out of vegetarian meals, so they gave me 2 chicken meals so i could just eat the sides.
i didnt sleep much b/c it was cold...and i should have stollen a blanket from the plane b/c i need a pillow case...haha
i
arrived in Vienna at around 9:30 am and then went straight to the dorms. they are much bigger than i expected and pretty nice. im living with a girl from school so thats good. we didnt do much for a while b/c we wanted to wait for everyone else to arrive. we were just dumped in our rooms without much info so we had no idea what was going on or where we really where to begin with. when everyone got there we just took a long walk and farted around.
i was stressing out. its a lot harder to be away then i thought it was. i cried a bunch the first day b/c i was tired, confused, angry, everything. but i think things will end up ok in the long run. we are all getting by ok.
today, we went to our school to look around and meet some other students. there are people from all over the world t our small campus so that is cool. we got a free lunch and i made some pretty cool friends. however, i couldnt tell if they were laughing at me or with me...but they seemed nice. EVERYONE

adam and i waiting for the bus tour IN VIENNA IS GORGEOUS. i mean...the boys look like models (which makes me think all of vienna is gay) and the girls are super cute too! its crazy. too many beautiful people in one place.
uh...we went to Karlplatz which is right near the city center (about 30 min away from home, and 15 from school). the station was creepy. about as close to a new york subway station as i have seen yet. there are a lot of crack heads here. so we had to watch our stuff. but when we got up onto the street, we were blown away. the buildings are so beautiful it is unreal. i saw some amazing places today and i cant wait to get a better look around. we might hit a museum up or something soon. it was really awesome and today was much better.
it was soooooo cold today. it was snowing most of the day.
ok! well thats it i guess! we might go to a bar here shortly. i uploading the pictures i took today. they are just with my small little camera b/c we had no idea we were going on the tour. so more

You Go Girl!
Yea!!! I am so glad you are rested and getting out and about. It is hard to be away in a foreign country but you'll adapt. We are very spoiled as Americans....and many times act like it. I just know you are going to have an experience of a lifetime. I can't wait to hear more!
