Prague was pretty but a little daunting. Not sure if it was because it is formly part of the Eastern European Block or if it was because of the dodgy suburb we stayed in but even the guys from the tour were a little wary. Danny (who we have nicknamed Big Brother) made sure we all caught the public transport together & that everyone knew where they were going. It was beautiful, seeing the palace, the old town centre & of course the amazing Charles Bridge. Got a bit ripped off for lunch though. Paid €38 for lunch. Had a Thai salad, chips & 2 beers. I must remember to look at the menu before going into these places. They don't use the euro here so the exchange had everyone confused. Although, I did go to the supermarket & bought 2 packs of chips, 2 chocolates, a bottle of soft drink & a bottle of Vodka all for under €8 (about $15aus). Not bad huh!!! Grog is soooooooooo cheap here.

We all had a fairly quiet night that night cause it was a 7am breaky the next morning. Our 1st stop was Salzburg, where Mozart was born & were the sound of music was mainly filmed. It was so pretty. All the girls of the crew were running around Salzburg singing songs from the Sound of Music & all the boys were rolling their eyes. It was funny. Then an hour up the road we stopped at Tirol. A small, gorgeous town in Austria. Today was a free day so we had a pretty big night last night. I was pie-eyed. Slept til 10:30, had a beautiful chinese buffet for lunch €6.20 (I checked the menu this time!!) Then did some washing. We were supposed to have our professional tour photo today but it has rained all day so the photographer didn't want to do it. So all of us did our washing & that took forever. There are 5 tour groups in this tiny town today & I think about 220 people all piled into the laudrymat (which is where this computer is, how handy). So I've meet lots of people today....lol

Having a yummy Austrian dinner tonight then off to Slovenia tomorrow.

I'm having the best time & it's going at a good pace. I'd better go & find the crew now.

Take care
Love you all,
Ciao for now
Love Kel
