Hi All

Firstly thanks for all your comments, we've read and posted them if they appear in the box at the bottom of the journal.
Great to hear from you, keep in touch.

Well its taken almost 62 years but I've finally seen my first snow! What an incredible day.......2 hours on the train from Salzburg to the beautiful lakeside town of Zell am See then 30 minutes on the 660 bus to the base of the cable car.

From there it was cable car to the first staion, open ski lift to the Alpincenter at 2450 metres then another cable car to the summit of Kitzsteinhorn (more than 3000 metres/ 10000ft+). Don't think it was your sort of ride Sally altho I think the Pearson family skiers would love it. I felt quite breathless snow fighting - maybe altitude or maybe because Adrian threw snow all over me and it was COLD.

Words cant describe the scenery so I'll let the pictures tell the story

Don't know where or when the next blog from but hope you enjoy this one

Love to all, A&M

Stunning Photos
This Travel Blog is a great idea and your photos are absolutely brilliant. Bevis' birthday party was a very elegant and enjoyable affair. Very posh food too. Marta and Kelly both blossoming with their very pregnant tums.I am spending my days with some very old people. Living to 95+ seems to be very de rigeur in the inner city(Mt Lawley, Menora and North Perth) Its the 70+ year old carers I feel sorry for!I finish work at ACAT the end of next month. We fly out to London via Tokyo (3 days)and New York(7 days)on Dec1. Happy hols and keep blogging.
