The Islam faith has five primary duties, profession of faith, prayer performed five times a day, almsgiving to the poor, fasting during daylight hours in the month of Ramadan, and the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a Muslim’s lifetime. On the other hand, the Buddhist religion is based of the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, who was also know as Buddha. Today Buddhism is divided into two major branches, Theravada and Mahayana. He preached peace and wanted to find the solution to the struggles in life. What makes Christianity unique is that it has a giant bases for other major religions that believe in God.
