The company that I chose to do research on is Victoria's Secret. They use sweat shops in Honduras as well as other locations.
The conditions of the sweat shop are said to be very harsh. The workers only get laid less than $1 a day, they are under supervision at all times while they are working to be sure that they will not steal anything and they are sometimes beatened for no reason. And these people have no choice but to work here because that is their only source of income. Also I read that Victoria's Secret once had a sweat shop at a women's prison in America. It was ran for about 5 years until one of the gaurds of the prison found out what was doing going on and reported it. The company can start setting up factories in America that are safe and work free. It may be more expensive but at least people would not have to suffer for it.
