hey guys...it´s another great dose of meeeee!!! yippeee (haha, i´m sure that´s not the case! :D) anyways, after i left to go home from that last entry...all of a sudden a dark cloud formed outta NOWHERE (i swear! when we left it was perfectly sunny). and then it just started downpouring hardcore. we thought it would get better so we waited for like 10 minutes, but it just got worse and worse. so we just left and walked home. it was absoutely horrible! no one had an umbrella (one girl had a poncho) but that was it! we walked in the hardcore rain for at least a good 20 to 25 minutes. the dirt roads were flooded wit water puddles pretty deep. in addn to the puddles being there, some of the roads we couldn´t even see because the rain had completley covered it all! and also, everyone was in their homes and then of course, there were us gringos outside in the pouring rain walking home. everyone was laughing and/or staring (heck! i would have if i were them too) haha!

other than that, my day usually consists of waking up kinda early (becus everyone here sleep at least before 9 pm or something) it´s hard for me to adjust b-c i usually sleep not at least until past 1 am. so yah, ppl always sleep early. whatever! and then we work with patients as they come in. then we have lunch. and then more patients. lately i´ve been taking naps during the day bc i am so tired. but today im at the internet cafe going online and i also called my dad´s house. i intended to leave a message, but kristine answered the phone (i forgot that she just got back from london and rome--i want to go there!) then we eat dinner and then i teach students english. my class just keeps getting bigger and bigger! all these ppl just want to learn english. even small things like the parts of the body or vowels. it sucks bc pretty soon i have to tell ppl i can´t teach anymore bc now i have 8 and teaching more than 10 will be hard i know.

i hope this weekend i will be traveling here in honduras. tons of ppl are going out elsewhere. some to copan, la ceiba, tela, or roatan. i think im staying local and only going to either el paraisio or yuscaran (a tradln colonial mining town that´s supposed to be really pretty. i think it has mountains to hike and also a hot spring or something). in the guide books it´s one of the highlighs of southern honduras.

im not sure if it´s like, illegal to upload pics here with my memory reader. so i will wiat and ask the guy who uploaded pics how he did it. hopefully really soon i will be able to put up pics here and also in my other online photo site. that would be great! and i´ll prolly have more pics of wherever i go this weekend!

my time here is going by super fast. that´s what eveyrone who´s been here for awhile has told me. it goes kinda slow in the beginning and then just goes really fast. by the time im outta here, i want to have hit: yuscaran, danli cigar factories, el paraisio, la tigra (natl park), el oloncho (it has some really cool caves of glowing human skulls which is supposed to be amaazzzinng!), roatan (maybe), copan (ancient Mayan ruins-super amazing i hear), and gracias (another cool, friendly, colonial tradnl colonial town). i hope i can make all these trips! im totally amped!

sorry so long...im sure abt 0 ppl read it so it´s all good...peace from down here...adios! quisieria tener muchas fotos cuando yo estoy en un cafe internet otra vez porque yo quisieria todos mis amigos y amigas ver el pais del honduras y ver el pueblo de danli porque es muy magnifico y las personas aqui son muyyy simpatico y increible! otra vez, adios. muchos besos.
