Haiti's problems begin with its technological gap with the rest of the world. It does not have the advanced agricultual equipment or chemicals to support the population. The recent earthquake has also created a problem of contaiminated drinking water. Most of the water supply has been contaiminated with human waste leading to an outbreak of cholera. This is killing tons of people every day. The government is not able to handle of any of these problems and they are being tackled by foreign aid.
